This book is about discovering and using biomaterials. With the research and tests my team has done, we have compiled recipes that are easy to implement for others and provide inspiration. It is important to consider sustainability and craftsmanship, but also development and iteration. That is why we hope that this book will inspire you to get started with biomaterials yourself and discover that world more.
Our goal is to make people, especially students of Communication and Multimedia Design, enthusiastic about the world of biomaterials. With a book full of recipes, objects, concepts, and envelopes with real samples in one box, we hope to challenge students to get started with these materials.
The project started with a lot of research. Then we started experimenting with biomaterial recipes. During this project, I focused on fruit leather and bio-plastic.
At the end of the project, I created the graphic design and product design of the recipe book.
I chose the right colors, typography, and materials for the book and the box.
