This book, which we created for the project 'A Living Lab' is about discovering and using biomaterials. With the research and tests my team has done, we compiled recipes that are easy to implement for others and provide inspiration. It is important to consider sustainability and craftsmanship, but also development and iteration.
Our goal was to make people, especially students of Communication and Multimedia Design, enthusiastic about the world of biomaterials. With a book full of recipes, objects, concepts, and envelopes with real samples in one box, we challenge students to get started with these materials.
The project started with a lot of research. Then we started experimenting with biomaterial recipes. During this project, I focused on fruit leather and bioplastic.
At the end of the project, I created the graphic design and the product design of the recipe book.
