This is a follow-up photography session of the bio-plastics I made during the creation of the book; Discover the world of biomaterials.
I used a close-up lens to get all the details of the bio-plastics. Such as the air bubbles, the patterns, colors, and the amazing textures it created.
The experimentation is done with different mixtures, heats, and combinations with other materials. I also used turmeric or a coloring agent to get different colors.
In these bio-plastics, I experimented with the ingredients:
• corn starch, water, sunflower oil
• corn starch, water, glycerine
• potato starch, water, glycerine
